The Herma 500 Rotary Machines have recently been integrated with the Gernep Labelers in order to create a large scale labeling machine. There is currently a major U.S. food distributor who is using a total of 3 machines, these newly integrated machines are precise with placements of labels which is great for this food distributor. This food distributor produces condiment bottles to be put out into grocery stores and the Herma 500 integrated labeler is the right tool for this job. The condiment bottles that get labeled and shipped need specific placements on them, which the fully integrated labeler machine is able to do with ease. The Herma 500 rotary mechanism inside this machine allows this labeler to label 20,000 bottles per hour, Gernep has stated that the Herma products have greatly improved customer satisfaction.
Herma and Gernep started working together in 2005 and have now integrated over 1,000 products together. The new product labeler has 2 unwinders built in so it can allow faster label roll changes when needed. The product labelers unwinders are motorized to make the process of changing rolls go even smoother. These new product labelers in certain cases depending on size of production can have up to 9 Herma 500 rotary machines inside. The Herma 500 is also great for these machines as how accessible and versatile they are, the Herma machine comes with a touch screen for optimal functionality. The additional touch screens can make the labeling machine be operated as easily as a smartphone. Another bonus to this machine is with the touch screen you can run a diagnostic test to see if anything is wrong with the machine when direct access to the applicator is not available.
